I deeply apologize for my lack of posts this week; I had a rush of midterms and assignments and I’m sorry to have neglected my readers in the blogosphere this week! I didn’t realize I only wrote one post so far in November. Now I’m back and ready to share wordy things with all of you!
I want to share my recent favourite blush by NARS. Meet Liberté, a “burnished apricot” coloured blush. I love the matte, velvety feel of the packaging!
The colour of the Nars blush looks pretty scary- dark and orangey. Because it’s so pigmented, less is more and I’m sure this blush have years before the end of its lifetime! When you look at the blush in person, there are some speckles of shimmer, but it appears matte on the skin and gives it a natural glow when it is lightly applied to the cheekbones.
Normally, I would be freaked out to try anything of that colour. But. the formula is smooth and light and it is easy to get a natural glow. Liberté is easy to apply, sweep, and blend. The lasting power of this is amazing as well.
I took a picture of myself with Liberté on two different days in two different lighting. Even with the bad lighting in the picture on the left, Liberté still stands out! This Nars blush is a definite plus for my cheeks!
Do you love NARS blushes too? Which one do you use?
Have a happy long weekend, and I promise more posts coming soon!!
