I have an attraction to pinks lately. I’ve had this bottle of Sally Hansen Shrimply Devine nail polish for a long time, and I took it out to use for the first time. I really like the bright, vibrant pink colour. The name “Shrimply Devine” is cute as well!
The colour is so bright, so girly, so pink! I love the shine it gives off. However, I tried adding a matte top coat of nail polish to tone it down a bit. I used nails inc Westminster Bridge matte top coat. The top coat is amazing! It doesn’t scratch, form bubbles, and it dries quite fast. The nail polish on my thumbs started to chip at the top, possibly because I tried to open a keychain.
The nails didn’t feel too chalky, and there’s still a natural shine to it. Shrimply Devine is a very true, bright, bubble gum pink colour which is great for the summer time. The matte top coat tones it down as the season transitions to fall. I’m going to start putting matte coats over different kinds of nail polish colours now!
