Canada’s largest Topshop store opened in Vancouver last Thursday and I fell in love with all the clothing pieces when I entered in. Because I love the style and culture in Britain already, I was instantly drawn to Topshop before even seeing their collection. When I went to Topshop, I was in love! I couldn’t leave the store without resisting the urge to not buy anything, and I happily left with this “Short Hooded Military Swing Coat”.
This dark olive green/military green colour is one of my favourite colours to wear. (I’m still on the hunt for military green pants!) When my eyes laid on this jacket, I had to try it on. I ended up buying this swing coat in US size 2, and it fits perfectly!
The fabric of this coat is made of 46% Wool,27% Polyester,10% Acrylic,8% Viscose,5% Cotton,4% Nylon. Because a decent amount of wool is in the jacket, I can wear this over a thin long sleeve top and be relatively warm, if it isn’t too windy outside. For windier weather, a thick knit under this would keep me warm without looking too bulky!

What I like about this jacket is how versatile it is. It looks great with jeans and leggings- with edgy or classy boots, with flats or converse shoes. The oversized pockets are great in storing my iPhone and little things that won’t fall out if I bend down!

I’m definitely wearing this jacket as much as I can before the weather starts to fall around freezing temperature in Vancouver. Hope all of you have a great coat to bundle in this season!
