A new addition to my fresh collection is the SUGAR Coral Lip Treatment I got from Sephora when I was in the states. I was excited since coral is such a great colour for the summer and I was glad to get my hands on this.
As with the other lip treatments in the fresh line, the Coral lip treatment is in a aluminum build case.

Although this is a coral colour, I feel it leans toward the redder side when I apply it on my lips. It is quite pigmented for one swipe, so I dab it to get a lighter, less dramatic colour. It adds a brightness to my face which I like.
The scent is similar to the other ones in the line- lemony. It is hydrating and my lips feel smoother with this product on.

The colour last approximately 4-5 hours. Although it fades a bit, I feel my lips still retaining the moisture content. It also has SPF 15- which is great because SPF should be on the lips, not just the skin on your face.
These lip treatments are on the pricier side ($22.50 USD, $26CAD) , but they have never been a disappointment. I prefer using this over lipstick because of it’s strong colour and hydrating properties in one. They also last for a while, since I dab the colours. I have been using my fresh lip treatment in ROSE for almost a year and I still have a little less than half left.
I think fresh lip treatments are great for those who a)don’t like lipstick but would love a pop of colour and b) those who are afraid of lipstick drying their lips – as this coral colour provides both pigmentation and moisture.
Do you like the fresh Sugar line too? Let me know!
