Another item sponsored by MexyShop.com is this “Got Studs? Denim Shirt” which I absolutely love! Studs and spikes makes good fashion statements and I’ve always enjoyed meeting with my inner, edgy self. Putting studs on a denim shirt is the perfect icing on top.

Jeans is what I normally wear on the bottom, but I wasn’t daring enough to wear denim on denim. Instead, I wore a pair of red jeggings I purchased from MexyShop.com previously in the summer. I’m always worried buying pants online since they might be too long for my short stature, but these jeggings fit my height perfectly! Plus, they’re extremely comfy.

The denim shirt is quite long, which is great to throw on for the lazy or chilly-sunny days. The denim shirt goes well over summer, casual dresses, or a loose top with leggings too. To compliment the studs style, I wore a pair of my good old military boots. I am also carrying my Michael Kors bag which is my go to bag to match any outfit!

For accessories, I am wearing this vintage bird cage necklace that I bought in some Hong Kong street and haggled it for a very low price.

I love the affordability of MexyShop.com’s items and the quality is great for the price! It is definitely one of my favourite online retail outlet, as I have been purchasing from them since 2009! Clothes are so much affordable and unique compared to the clothes I see everyday in Vancouver!

Random Fact + Question

I recently went to get an eye checkup to see if my prescription got worse or better, and the doctor said it’s all good, but due to my astigmatism, I can’t wear contacts (full time) since a slight tilt of my contacts would make my vision blurry. Anyone else have astigmatism? Which contacts are good?

..moving on to the main focus of the post now:

I have been collecting red pieces for my closet, and I bought a pair of Red Bleached Skinny Jeggings from Mexy couple months ago, and I finally had the chance to wear it. Mexy is an online retailer selling trendy fashion styles from Asia, she started selling via Facebook and now she has her own website. Shipping is free (worldwide!) for purchases over $50, or $4 shipping. I have several articles of clothing from Mexy since I find them unique, fashionable, and affordable. (Note: I am not getting paid for writing this!)

I wanted a pair of red pants for a while, but I never found the right colour in stores. Or if I did find the right colour, I didn’t find it with the right price. These jeggings costs $19.99 online, so I thought these were affordable and worth a try. It was definitely worth it since the red jeggings fitted comfortably and what I liked about it most, was that the length was perfect. Because I’m so short , most pants I buy always end up being too long. But these jeggings fit my 5″2 frame!

At first I didn’t know what to wear with red jeggings, so after skimming Pintrest for some inspiration, this is what I wore. I do worry sometimes that they’re a bit bold, so I would usually wear a neutral top (such as beige, white, black). But some splash of colour at the top doesn’t hurt either!

Top: ZARA – ZARA recently had a sale and I found this top for $25. I think my shoulders aren’t broad enough to fit through the holes though. I love the stripes and the coloured circles on the shirt!

Shoes: Converse! I have had this classic black pair for 4 years now.
