I’ve been transitioning between feeling sleepy or feeling sick; and I’m pretty sure it has to do with extreme amounts of Netflix and the cold, darker weather we are getting now. No more prancing around in just a scarf and sweater; it’s almost time to bring out the winter gear cause I’m a wimp whenever it gets chilly. My office is usually pretty cold and I pretty much rely on a bunch of fluffiness to keep myself warm.
Light Pink, Light Green
Hope you all are having a great long Thanksgiving weekend (if you’re in Canada!) I’ve pretty much spent the whole day in bed with a headache and binge watching on Netflix and no upcoming turkey plans. However, glad to see the sun’s out and I can still dress in those sort of warm-slightly chilly outfits. I think many of us can agree that layering is one of the best parts of chilly weather. That being said, fake layering is fun too. It makes me feel like I thought really hard of what I was going to wear but in fact, effort was minimal.

My unsaid desire for a large floppy hat started to grow when Gossip Girls was on TV and Serena van der Woodsen and Blair Waldorf were my holy grail fashion icons. Well…I think the hat trend has started to be popular here which means MORE varieties to get a hat from! After trying on a bunch and enduring frizzy hat hair, I have finally found one that suits what I wear and the shape and size of my somewhat square head. [Read more…]
OOTD: Bohemian Blouse Under Cherry Blossom Trees
SIGH! I will have to abandon eye makeup temporarily since I got some eye infection. 🙁 Not sure how it came up, maybe a flake of eyeliner got inside or something! Hopefully I can say goodbye to painful, red eye soon! I am, however, saying hello to this bohemian blouse I recently bought from H&M!
Outfit of the Day: Pink and Military
Awhile ago, I bought a pair of Material Girl pink jeans from The Bay. Clothes from that line are fairly affordable, and there’s always a sale going on at the Bay. However, the pink jeans I bought are quite bright, so I flew to Pinterest to get some fashion inspiration.
Here are some pictures I found:

I find that blue/white tops pair up well with pink bottoms. Today was a chilly/windy day, but I still wanted to wear some colour.
Jacket- Bench (from The Bay)
T-Shirt: H&M
Bottom: Material Girl (from The Bay)
Shoes: Military boots from Urban Behaviour
I got my Bench jacket a long time ago during a massive sale at the Bay, and it was around $40. The trick to getting cheap Bench jackets is to go to the Bay when they have a sale, and then wait until there is an additional sale on sale prices. I’m also wear a plain white V-neck from H&M that was $6.95 (plus I had 15% off for being a student!)
(PS- massive bed hair going on, and I didn’t bother to comb it out!)
The boots are from Urban Behaviour (located in Metrotown.) They have a plaid pattern inside too, so I can fold the tops of my boots and it would look pretty funky. The laces are a bit annoying though, so I probably will change them later on so they hold better. These current laces are thin and stringy.
Coloured denim is a great way to dress casual, but it’s still different and eye catching. Dare to wear pink! Feel free to follow me on Pinterest – wheetnee!
