Sure, I’m not as smart as Gwen Stacy. (I do have a lab coat!)
Sure, I don’t have a Spider Man.
But, who says you can’t dress or steal her makeup style? This is a just-for-fun makeup put together to look like Gwen Stacey. So, there are major differences between me and Emma Stone who plays Gwen Stacy- I’m Asian and I’m blind as a bat without wearing glasses. But, I just tried to mimic her makeup since I really liked how simple it was! (Thanks to jsleigh14 for inspiring me to do this post)
Plus, there’s going to be a Spiderman sequel for sure, and if I go see it at midnight or on the first day, I would definitely like to dress up as Gwen Stacy! I state- this makeup tutorial is nothing fancy, no tricks or anything. In fact, this look can probably be a good night-out look or day look!

Makeup Items Used:

Face:
Bare Esecentuals Prime Time Foundation primer
Bare Escentuals (Bare Minerals) Mineral Veil

Shiseido Luminizing Satin Face Colour- RD 103 (Petal)

Shu uemura Eyelash Curler
Lancome Hypnose Doll Lashes in 01 So Black!
Maybelline Dream Lumi touch Highlighting Concealer
Essence Liquid Eyeliner
Urban Decay Naked Palette- Virgin, Naked, Half Baked
Lips:
Maybelline Coral Lustre
Victoria Secret Perfect Lipstick Be Mine
Okay, that seems like a LOT of products to put on your face, and I usually do not wear this much stuff, and in fact, you can skip some of the items- it depends how comfortable you feel in them! And luckily, half of the items were bought by my mom (bare Minerals/ bare escentuals) and I just borrow, and some items were GWP (Lancome, Shiseido).
So to prep my face- I started with the foundation primer and then I used Mineral Veil to give myself a clean canvas. I actually don’t use foundation, so I would skip this step, but it’s your choice! Afterwards, I used Maybelline Dream Lumi touch Highlighting Concealer to put on my undereye, to highlight the area. Then, I used Benefit High Beam to highlight the area where my eye socket is, above my cheekbones. I also used a bit of High Beam on my nose bridge, since I have a fairly flat nose. Additionally, I put some Essence concealer on the sides of my nose to hide redness/blemishes (this step is skippable if you have great skin around the nose!).

Emma Stone is wearing a peachy coloured blush, and luckily, I had a Shiseido satin blush I got in a GWP in a peachy colour (RD 103- Petal). I love this blush, it looks natural, feels silky, and I love the glimmer it has when light bounces off of it. I used a angle contour brush (spa essentials contour brush from Walmart) to put some blush on my cheekbones.

After doing the face, I did the eyes. I forgot to put eyeshadow primer on my eyelids, but technically you should to prevent creasing. Anyway, being the unskilled eyeshadow person I am, I only blended Naked and Half Baked (Urban Decay Naked Palette) on my eyelids. Emma Stone’s eyeshadow looks very subtle and nothing showy. I also dabbed a bit of Virgin on my browbones. Next, I curled my eyelashes using Shu uemura eyelash curler. The eyeliner I used is Essence’s Liquid Liner and I kept the liner close to my lashline, then drew a it a bit past my eye. After, I used Lancome Hypnose Doll Lashes mascara on my top and bottom eyelashes.

For the lips, I think Emma is wearing a peachy-coral colour. I didn’t have a similar colour, so I first wore Victoria Secret Perfect Lipstick in Be Mine, then dabbed it with Maybelline’s Coral Lustre lipstick. I don’t think I was very close, but it was better than the lipstick I had alone.

The hair is simple- ponytail. I don’t have straight bangs, unfortunately. Then I just popped on my chemistry labcoat from high school and ta da, transformed into my own mini Gwen Stacy. Sorry, the lighting is not the best! I hope I don’t look too “oily” !

(not sure why the shine doesn’t show on my other cheek >_<“)
What do you think? Would you dress like Gwen to a premiere?
