When I poured all the contents in the mixing bottle, it took a while of shaking for it to be blended. When I first tried it, the smell of the chemicals was quite strong. Since this is my first time, I’m not sure how strong the smell is like. I used up the whole bottle of dye but it didn’t seem to have the effect I wanted. The suggested time to keep the dye n the hair is 25 minutes, but I should have kept it in longer.
First of all, I have very very very dark hair, as you may have seen in previous pictures I have floating around on my blog. Even compared to my other friends who are also Asian, my hair is naturally super dark! I used up the whole bottle of dye, and it didn’t turn out as successful as I hope….
It is suggested to not shampoo your hair after 24 hours of hair dying. I found that it took two shampoo washes to full get rid of the chemical smell of the lingering hair dye. I notice that my hair is still mostly black, but it looks off-black at certain angles under light. I wasn’t totally satisfied with how my hair turned out, since I wanted a more noticeable colour, but this is perhaps due to my first time trying it.
Any opinions? Anyone else have tried this line of L’Oreal Féria Multi-Faceted Shimmering Color Hair Dye before?
