Awhile back when Essence was introduced in Shoppers Drug Mart, I purchased a little Essence concealer palette for $2.99 (3.5g of product)! This is the Essence forget it! 3 in 1 concealer. I wanted something to conceal any blemishes that would pop up randomly, so I thought this would be a good thing to carry around in my purse.
The size of the product is small and handy- fits right into my palm. The diameter of the packaging is almost 6 cm. The plastic packaging feels a bit cheap, and is prone to scratches. However, let’s not judge a book by its cover.

There are 3 colours, as you can see- pink, beige, and green. The pink is to use for under eye circles, the beige is for blemishes, and green is for minimizing redness.

First- I’d like to note the easiness of using the product. It’s a thick, creamy paste and I normally use my fingers to get the product. Of course, it’s unhygenic to do that, so I do spray the palette with Beauty so Clean Cosmetic Sanitizer Mist to kill what bacteria it can.
A little goes a long way- is what I learned from using this product. I use the green + beige for mainly concealing redness/blemishes. It feels greasy at first touch, but once the product is on my fingers, I dab a little bit of green until it sinks in my skin, then dab a bit of beige over it, and it does a fairly decent job in covering minor imperfections. I use my finger because I find the heat helps with the blending, otherwise, it is a bit harder. For me, it lasts an average work day so I am quite happy with the result.
However- the pink has been rendered useless to me. I tried this under my eyes, and it dried out everything and made it look cakey- I saw a layer of “white” flecks instantly like a little fuzz. Not good! Only the green and beige colours have worked for me.

L-R: Pink, Beige, Green
It seems like the beige is a bit darker, but for me, it blends into my skin and matches to my tone pretty well. The green is more of a light minty green- and once I cover a red zit, it totally masks it!
✔ Does a good blending/covering job for redness and blemishes
✘ Cheap packaging (but given the price, not a big factor to me – I honestly think many companies spend much more money in making nice packaging to suck us in and we end up paying more!)
