One of the signature items I carry in my purse is my David’s Tea teal Timolino and I’ve been using that since 2013. Last Christmas my friend’s and I were trying to use a timer to take a group photo and my thermos was left on the table and appeared in the photos. #whitneysthermos became a hashtag. So when I received David’s Tea new Tea Press, which launched on August 15th, I was so stoked to have an upgrade!!
Teas should be perfumes…I <3 David's Tea Organic Cream of Earl Grey
I love drinking tea, and I hoard from David’s Tea like no tomorrow. When I go inside David’s Tea and tell myself I’m going to buy this one specific flavour, I somehow end up with more than I need. This is my current collection of tea from David’s Tea. I hope there’s a lot more intense tea hoarders out there so I feel better about myself. [Read more…]
Tea Time: Organic Pu’erh Ginger
I have decided to add another section under my food category- tea. I love drinking tea and I buy so many flavours my parents complain I have enough to open my own tea store. I drink tea every single day, approximately 5-8 cups depending whether I’m at home or at work. Tea is extremely healthy- it can be a thirst quencher or act as a medicine!
One of my recent purchases is David’s Tea – Organic Pu’erh Ginger. I bought 100g, which comes with a free tin and when I bring the free tin for refill, I can get $0.50 off my purchase.
Name of Tea: Organic Pu’erh Ginger
Where to Buy: David’s Tea- Oakridge Centre
Cost: 50g for $7.50
Description: Combining pu’erh and ginger is like creating an arsenal. These are two of Chinese medicine’s best weapons, each with their own long history of legends and traditional uses. They also happen to be delicious. Especially when blended with a hint of orange, for a hint of citrus to complement the zesty earthiness.
Ingredients: Organic: pu’erh tea from Yunnan Province in China, ginger and orange peel.
I am prone to digestion problems, and the sales associate at David’s Tea recommended this to try. Either it’s a placebo effect or it works, but drinking this after a full meal feels wonderful and exhilarating. It looks like a cup of caffeine minus milk, or black tea. However, it is dark due to aging and fermentation. There is a bit of caffeine content in this, and I found that drinking this keeps me energized when I was staying up late to work on an essay.
I’ve only had just plain pu ‘erh tea in Chinese restaurants, so I knew I would like this tea. The extra addition of ginger gives a great kick of flavour. When I steep the tea leaves in my cup, I love inhaling the aroma of zesty, gingery tea.
I tweeted my love for this tea earlier to David’s Tea, and they suggested to try this iced. I decided to steep a bit in my cup and stuck it in the fridge for a couple hours, and I found it delicious! However, I still like my tea hot.

What’s in your cup of tea? More tea varieties on my blog to come!
100th Post! + Favourite Products & Things
Wow, this is my 100th post of my blog- and I want to thank all the readers that have came to read posts, drop comments, or like what they’re seeing. It’s been a milestone getting this far into my blog and so thanks for being patient with me! I try to bring variety to my blog (although I realized it’s mostly beauty stuff) but I try to show you guys who I really am on my blog!
A blog not only needs a writer behind each post, but also readers- and I wouldn’t have made it this far without you! I have enjoyed reading each comment and having long comment-conversations with many of you.I hope that I’ll see more of you on here and I’ll be reading your posts too!
So I didn’t want to write a random post just because it was an excuse for me to have a 100th post-so I just want to share some of my favourite beauty products and miscellaneous currently.
Favourite Eye Products
Because mascara expires every 3 months, I’m pretty much wearing it daily now so I would get the most out of them. I am currently loving Benefit They’re Real over Dior’s Lash Plumping Serum. (Review will come in future posts!)

Favourite Lip Products
I have been a fan of Fresh lip products for a while, and I’ve been using it so much the lettering on the case has faded away. Maybelline’s Pink Me Up is a lipstick shade I got from London Drugs a while ago and it’s a great everyday color. (Review will be up in the future!)

Right: Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment – Rose
Favourite Scent
I am crazy for apple scents and I have the lotion, cream, shower gel and mist from Bath and Body Works’ Wild Apple Daffodil collection.
Favourite Nail Colour
The colours I see myself wearing over and over again this summer is Essie’s “A Crewed Interest” and “Mint Candy Apple”. I’ve raved about them in previous posts ( click here for A Crewed Interest and here for Mint Candy Apple.)
Favourite Shoes
My current favourite wears for my feet are these 2 pairs of shoes- a pair of flats I got from Macy’s for $13 a while ago- loving the glitter and the giant bows on them, and a pair of Nine West boat shoes I got from the Seattle Premium Outlet for $22.50! Super comfy!

Favourite Accessory
I am an earring fanatic, and I love wearing earrings. I practically feel naked without them. My favourite to-go pairs are these fabric rose studs with dangling crystal beads my friend got for my birthday in December! They go with any outfit!
Favourite Tea
I love tea and David’s Tea is my favourite place to stock up on tea. My current favourite is organic pu ‘erh ginger tea. It may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but it is mine! It’s extremely healthy, and sometimes I drink it at night so I can stay up to finish my homework!

Favourite Sweets/Snack
I am obsessed with dark chocolate- and I am not eating milk/white chocolate anymore. These blueberries coated with dark chocolate is absolutely delicious- and at least a tad bit healthier! They’re usually on sale at London Drugs for $2.99! (Also sold at other drugstores) Everyone must try this (unless you’re allergic to blueberries and dark chocolate :P)!
I hope I didn’t bore you all- I can’t wait to write more posts in the future, and I hope you will be anticipating them!! Please let me know if you want to read anything in particular, or anything I should change- I would love to hear some opinions!
Anyways thanks for a great 100 posts, and here’s to infinite more! Happy Blogging!
