As I was molding again at UBC today, I went downstairs to Starbucks at Fred Kaiser to get some snacks. And I was so happy they have the Reduced- Fat Cinnamon Swirl Coffee Cake today! Usually the Starbucks on Agronomy Road sells the good pastries but I’m always too lazy to walk there. I realize I eat way too many snacks at Starbucks 🙁 (Good news, I’m getting my Gold Cardsoon!)

“With double layers of cinnamon swirl, this dessert makes our heads spin with giddy delight. Who can think straight once they taste the delectable taste of this dreamy coffee cake? Only a bold cup of coffee can snap us out of this reverie. Good thing we have plenty of that on hand.”
This is one of my new favourite Starbucks snacks (including vanilla bean scone and apple pie). I don’t really taste the coffee part of the cake, but it didn’t matter if I didn’t. The cake part is moist and not sweet, and when you eat the cinnamon swirl part, there is a strong, spicy, delicious cinnamon crumbles. I love cinnamon and this cake is heavenly. The topping is really good too, and if you can bite down all three layers of the cake, you’re in for a real treat!

And for some fatty goodness, I also bought a tall Caramel Frappuccino.

Thanks for reading about my mini snack adventure!
