One of my favourite cuisines is Vietnamese food, and I often go to Hue Cafe for lunch. It is located across from Richmond Centre, hence its location is very convenient for those working or just shopping! My mom and I usually stop by there often, and we had some of their delicious meals yesterday. We ordered some of our usual favourites:
Lemongrass Chicken

This was a fairly big platter- and we didn’t finish it (since we were finishing our other dish.) There was an abundance of meat -the chicken was moist, juicy, and had a tasty lemongrass flavour to it. Pouring the fish sauce over everything added extra zing to the already delicious meal.
Chicken Coconut Curry

I love this noodle soup- since spicy food is great! It’s not too hot, but the curry and spice flavour definitely kicks in. There’s also lots of chicken in there too, which is nice! I love the fineness of the noodles- very slurpable!
I didn’t order any baguettes- but they’re a MUST TRY. They’re very inexpensive (~$3-$4) and they’re chock full of flavour and fresh ingredients.
Pros
✔ Extremely friendly staff
✔ Large proportions
✔ Everything tastes extremely fresh and well made
✔ French Coffee here is delicious
✔ Convenient location
Cons
✘ The menu has been the same for many years- wish they would introduce some new dishes!
✘ Small- has approximately ten tables (can get crowded during busy times)
This is a place I always come back to, and I recommend to not go eat during peak times- as it can get busy and you will have to wait quite a while for food. This is a must try for all viet-food lovers!
