Most of you may or may not know, but Birchbox Canada is shutting down operations and the February box will be my second to last box! Can I say that I’m glad Birchbox didn’t go with some Valentine’s theme for their Feburary box?! (They did have a separate ‘Date Night’ box though!) For this month’s box, I already knew one of the samples I was going to get, which is the OCC Lip Tar; Birchbox sent an email to subscribers and let them choose one of three lip samples that they wanted in their box.
The last Birchbox of the year! Thanks for following with my Birchbox unboxings so far! These are like little presents; I have no idea what I’ll get inside and they’re already nicely packaged. (By the way, once again if the lightning looks weird; sorry! I’ve been busy during the weekends so I’ve been trying to play around with white lighting at home!)
I apologize for my slight delay in catching up with life as I have been in a blanket burrito and watching Once Upon a Time for a few days. I was recently inspired by September’s Birchbox, where I reviewed recently here– sometimes when life throws challenges at us we just got to have confidence in ourselves to face it.
We are more than half way in October and yes, I am guilty of reviewing last month’s September Birchbox (oops!) I love the design on this box (in fact I have an outfit post coming up inspired by these colours!) By the way, I’ve been using my old Birchboxes to store my makeup as trays and they’re overfilling…what have I done with my life?!
For the month of July, Birchbox Canada partnered with Best Health, a health and fitness magazine. If you haven’t heard of Birchbox, they are a subscription service and new subscribers can get a box of curated samples for $10 + $4.95 shipping per month! I received this box as a sample, so I have no beauty profile set up, thus these samples don’t reflect me, but hopefully they’ll give you an idea of what Birchbox Canada is like and whether you want to sign up or not!
