One of my all time favourite lipsticks is Victoria’s Secret Perfect Lipstick in Be Mine. It’s perfect colour for a pout, still daring enough to be bold, and subtle enough for those who do not want to wear full on red lipstick. I got this a while ago when I was in Bellingham and picked it up for $12 or $13 (I don’t remember exactly). However, I just checked their site, and they do not seem to be selling this online, so I don’t know if you can still purchase this in stores.

I definitely feel the ingredient shea butter working because it makes my lips feel so smooth and creamy.  The packaging is very sleek and sturdy. A very rectangular, black casing with VS on the lid. It’s boxy, but I like holding it in my hands.

 

The colour is a opaque, berry-coral to me. Light dabs on the lips would give a subtle berry pink colour, and a full on swipe will give a brighter, girlier, more fun colour. This colour lasts quite a while on me, 4-5 hours. Even when the formula wears off,  I still see a berry tint to my lips! Sometimes it can feather in lines or accentuate flakes on your lips, so it is better to EXFOLIATE or wear a LIP BALM as a base.

If you cannot find the lipstick, a very similar colour is Rimmel’s Sweetheart Tulips, although I like the formula of Victoria’s Secret lipstick better. I will post a review and swatch of it next time!

I am loving “Be Mine” and have been using it often when I go out, since it’s such a fun colour. Definitely one of my favourite pink lipsticks to date! What’s yours?
