I don’t wear black nail polish, or dark polish essentially. I never thought they match my skintone and I never found a dark colour I liked. Until I tried Zoya’s Anja, which is the perfect fall colour in my nail polish collection which consists of mostly pinks and nudes. This is the description of the colour on their site:
Zoya Nail Polish | Anja
Zoya nail polish in Anja can be best described as: A rich, deep, vampy red-toned wine purple with a glossy creme finish. This vampy shade is both sexy and elegant.

Burgundy and vampy- definitely this season’s colour. I actually bought this at a sidewalk sale during the summer, and I only started using it recently. First off, the brush and application is so easy! It’s not as hard to make a mess compared to other nail polishes. The colour is so creamy and easy to apply. And I don’t need a full 2 coats for perfect coverage.
Under flash, the colour is very purple, and less burgundy.

The darkness of the polish still throws me off a bit, so I decided to add a topcoat after with Essie’s Shine of the Times. The shimmer varies under lighting. It could be a golden-red shimmer or green-orangey shimmer.

Needless to say, I’m starting to appreciate dark coloured nail polish more! I’m ready to use Zoya’s Anja repeatedly now.
