With so much time at home now, other than working, I’ve been trying to find new hobbies to keep time going by. It’s been so hard to separate my ‘work hours’ and my ‘life’ time. The couch and dining table are within a few steps of each other. Two milestones are coming up in the near future – I’m turning 30 soon (yay…..nay….) and that I’m going to be getting married! Statement Gold Earrings
I am pretty low key when it comes to jewelry but I love a good pair of fun earrings. Mostly, my style has been gravitating towards statement gold earrings. A splash of gold never hurts and to me and definitely jazzes up my plain work wardrobe and my endless supply of black and dark clothes. I used to be wary about wearing “bolder” earrings because of my glasses (it felt like too many things on my head? face?) but now that I’m comfortable with who I am; I’ll have whatever I want on my ears. Review| Zoya Twinkling Collection
So many things happened in the last month I barely time to catch up with myself. Moving into my first home-owned. Getting engaged. Work has been non stop. Self care is something I’m striving to get more of, hopefully in the next coming month. I have three massages booked already. Moving all my possessions into a small one bedroom apartment was definitely a stressful and I’m thankful only 2 things broke during the move. Especially glad my nail polishes made the trip. ColourPop Verdict: I need more! No Filter Concealer + Liquid Liner review
Last fall, I went on a mini day trip to shop in the states and did a mini Ulta beauty haul. One of the brands I’ve always wanted to try was Colourpop as I’ve heard good things about their quality and affordability; and I like how they spelled ‘colour’ the Canadian way. 🙂 I also bought a lipstick along with the No Filter Concealer and Liquid Liner, but it mysteriously disappeared somewhere before I even had a chance to use it. 🙁 RIP $7 USD.
