A while back, I attended a lovely dinner at The Teahouse in Stanley Park and learned more about the brand, Dr. Hauschka. I’m the one who usually seeks out natural makeup, but I do appreciate it when it’s out there and especially when I get to sample some! The first time I tried was around Valentine’s day when I received their Lip Care Stick and a sample of the Volume Mascara. I thought I couldn’t get lazier in Spring but summer is here. I’ve been falling apart for a while and lost a bit of interest in makeup, but the Clarins Sunkissed Summer 2018 collection did wake me up again!! I need some inspiration and part of me almost want to start doing a points/lifestyle blog, but that’s just in the very, very wee back of my mind right now. If you’ve been on the blog before, I’m pretty much wearing glasses in every single post that has my face in it because I’ve been wearing them since Grade 2 and contact lenses just makes me look like a human panda.
So one of the challenges I find is finding a pair of affordable sunglasses, which I usually only get once every four years or so with my company benefits. There is no point shelling out for a pair of $300 non prescription sunglasses because deep down I know I wouldn’t wear them enough.
