Last month was the first launch of the Vancity Box, a subscription box to support our local BC companies and brands. October’s month was pretty much devoured by now and when I opened this month’s box I was squealing at the products inside. Mind you, I feel like this box is SLIGHTLY geared for females (unless you’re a gent who likes fruity candles and knitted sweaters for coffees,) otherwise, this is an awesome present for yourself or a friend.
Irresistible Me Hair Extensions
I remember vividly when I was in Grade Four, my mom took me to her hair dresser and she cut my hair up to my ears so that I looked like a semi-circle, and I cried while walking back to the car. Between high school to university, I’ve cut my hair above my shoulder once, and tried to grow it long but I could never get it beautifully long without wanting to cut it. And most recently, I cut it again in August..it’ll be a long time before getting hair past my chest. So if I was asked if I was interested to review Irresistible Me hair extensions I was down (think about all the cosplay options I have now too!!!!)
Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara in Black Pearl
After watching Zoella’s video on her monthly favourites where she included the Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara, I was intrigued because I’d be crazzzy to not want to have eyes that look like her’s. I have to be honest, even as a ‘beauty blogger,’ I’m not very knowledgeable in mascara and how to pick out every detail of their wands, so the ‘fanning brush’ with 10 layers of bristles didn’t unfaze me but I was interested to know what the new liquid formula with black pearls was about.
Lise Watier Teint Lumière Luminous Foundation
I seem to never get enough sleep nowadays (not because I’m playing Hearthstone late into the night *ahem*) and my skin loves letting me know by giving me a dull complexion in the morning and the random outbreak of pimples on my forehead. So tell me a product with the word “luminous” and you got my attention, such as the Lise Watier Teint Lumière Luminous Foundation.
Lyfe Tea JOE Coffee Scrub
I have been on a short haitus for the past two weeks, if you haven’t noticed on my Instagram, I was enjoying the beach in the Bahamas! Since I’m waiting for my transportation to the airport in the next few hours, I figure it’s a good time to get back in touch with my blog and all of you guys. You all know I love myself a good cup of coffee (I’ve been gulping cups daily from the cafe…), and I also love a good exfoliating scrub. Merge those two together, and you can find Lyfe Tea JOE Coffee Scrub. I’m usually a sticker to scrubs that are salt based, so it’s my first time using coffee grinds as an exfoliator. I had a good scrub before coming to the Bahamas for some smooth skin while chilling on the beach.
