The beauty posts are coming back soon, I swear!!! I haven’t gotten back into my beauty groove and I’m off for a weekend getaway. so I want to make sure I have the right mindset to deliver quality product reviews and looks for you! To finish off my San Diego Comic Con experience, I have to add on my food experience and what else I did in San Diego except for lining up and fangirling to the next level.
The blog has been on the backburner for the past week…because SAN DIEGO COMIC CON! My Elektra cosplay is ready to go and I’ve also been a wee bit preoccupied with PokemonGo. I thought I’d squeeze in one last mini post before I jet set to the states and have pop my SDCC cherry. I usually try to squeeze in a post of some stuff that I bring to a trip…so here ya go! I hope this won’t be boring you all!
Finally- the long awaited travel post on my Toronto trip! I haven’t been on an non-Asia trip and Toronto was a new experience even though I came here more than ten years ago. Before flying, I made a schedule and put stars on my Google Maps so I knew what to do and where to go and seriously guys, I’m soooo organized *humble smile.* Also kind of glad to do a non beauty and non fashion related post this time- just me blabbing on and throwing in a bunch of food pictures.
One of my most memorable visits in Toronto was FSHOPPE, the product showroom of Faulhaber Communications. As a blogger, I am very fortunate to collaborate with many brands and public relations companies, but I do most of my interactions via email or social media. When I was in Toronto, had the opportunity to establish those relationships in person rather than behind my screen.
Both Mark and my mom nagged me when I came back to Vancouver that I should’ve bought more clothes in China. And I guess they were right, because the three things I bought from Aritiza so far could’ve gotten me another 10 pieces from China I bet *sigh.* Nevertheless, my clothing haul can finally be displayed for all to see! The only thing I wish I could find in Canton (aka Guangzhou) was more no-branded long sleeve clothing. Yes it was boiling hot over there, but I’m a wimp when it comes to being in an air conditioned mall and its definitely a necessity to bundle up in Vancouver.
