Glasses are pretty much an extension of my face, I pretty much can’t live without them. Because they are a HUGE part of my life, they’re even more essential compared to clothes and shoes. Trends come and go, and switching to a pair of designer glasses every year is clearly not cost effective. Clearly. (anyone get the pun?!) One of the largest online optical stores, Clearly, reached out to me to try one of their frames. I’ve seen all the ads of Clearly (formerly known as Clearly Contacts) and know a lot of people who rave about them (I mean heck, they even HAVE their own store in Downtown Vancouver now!) I was a bit bored of the thick frame look on me, so I went to see what Clearly had in store!
Sudio Sweden Klang Earphones
As Valentines Day is slowly creeping up and if you want to shy away from the traditional gifts, a more practical AND chic gift idea would be a pair of Sudio earphones. Stylish, clean and sleek- how can one resist a beautiful piece of technology?!
Being a frequent commuter and having the privilege to listen to music during work, I am used to having earphones on me at all times. Not only are they good to keep me entertained, they’re also really useful when it comes to avoiding strangers. I’ve been using my Apple earphones for a long time (and I think most people can agree they are rubbish,) and so glad to have switched to the oh-so-pretty Sudio earbuds.
Classic Engineering – Classic NATO watch
Always keeping up with trends is tiring and costly; which is why sometimes I just keep around the basics- black and grey accessories, sweaters, boots..etc. Minimalism is a fun word to roll off my tongue but definitely not the lifestyle I currently am living, but I do plan to have a day where I just throw out things. My room is a mess. In contrast to all my clutter, the classic NATO watch from Classic Engineering stands out as a simple, sleek accessory with the luxury feel. The Classic Engineering watch collection was launched before Christmas and Canada Post took a lot longer than expected to deliver this, but it was 100% worth the wait; look at this classic beauty!
January 2016 Vancity Box
The first unboxing of the year is from Vancity Box; one of my goals/resolutions for this new year is to shop less so it’s nice to have a monthly curated box of Vancouver’s own brands in a box delivered to my doorstep. It’s like shopping for those $5 mystery bags that I used to get from Ardene, ahhh the good old days.
