One common thing my friends and I complain about is having a sore back, sore neck etc! Especially when most of us are working from home and sitting on a rigid chair ( IKEA dining chair for me,) the whole backside of me is as stiff as a surfboard. I have a few items at home to relieve my muscles such as an electric neck massager or a lacrosse ball for the tight areas. Recently I received a few products from The Original Magic Bag, a company specializing in hot/cold therapeutic packs. Plus, their products are made in Canada! [Read more…]

Basic Invite: Custom Invitations from weddings to birthdays
With so much time at home now, other than working, I’ve been trying to find new hobbies to keep time going by. It’s been so hard to separate my ‘work hours’ and my ‘life’ time. The couch and dining table are within a few steps of each other. Two milestones are coming up in the near future – I’m turning 30 soon (yay…..nay….) and that I’m going to be getting married! I am excited for . . . Vancouver Beanstock Coffee Festival!
It’s cold, it’s rainy, and I work at least 40 hours a week. There’s not much to look forward to most of my time. Except, when an email about the Vancouver Beanstock Coffee Festival reached my inbox! My coffee addiction has grown over the past few years and it definitely have conquered my old tea addiction. The third Beanstock Coffee Festival is from November 2-3 on Granville Island and not only do you get to try some amazing coffee (my brother vouched this,) but also get some cute coffee mugs 😀 .
I Won The #MAKEITMERRY Chapters Giveaway!
I was the biggest bookworm when I was a kid, so much that my mom would worry I’d just buy books and nothing else (that, for sure, has changed- and maybe she even regrets that statement haha.) Chapters was my safe haven and I feel quite happy that I have attended a few of their media events now. In November, I went to a preview at Chapters to check out their holiday collection. There was also a contest where you fill out items (a style item, home item, tech item, baby item, and a book item) on a list and they draw out a winner who will win everything..and dun dun dun, I was the winner! I rarely win anything on such a big scale, thank you go the book gods!! Best surprise Christmas present ever!!
