After eating days of crappy park food in Disney World, I said I’d stay away from fried protein when I went to New York City. The only exception that deserved to be an exception was Fuku, a fried chicken shop that is part of the Momofuku chain. (I really wanted to go to Momofuku Ko, but given the price and USD to CAD exchange rate, it just wasn’t worth it. It is on my bucket list though, ever since it was mentioned in one of my favourite books, The Rosie Project.) I went to Momofuku Noodle in Toronto and I think I will continue to try different Momofuku’s in different cities! [Read more…]
Notch8 Restaurant: Brothers Grimm Fairy Tale Afternoon Tea
Lately, the stress eating has been real. I hope none of ya run into me in real life because dem face pudge is going to wave hello before my hand does!! I should be making 10,000 steps per day listen on my Fitbit but there’s been days where I’m less than 2000 steps. One of my more recent food adventures was at Notch8 Restaurant at Hotel Vancouver for their Brothers Grimm Fairy Tale Afternoon Tea.

28 day to kick that Bloat with SkinnyMint Teatox: 11 Days In Experience
For all those who know me personally, I complain more about going to the gym than actually going to the gym. Yet, I seek out carbs, sweets, and meat like kids seeking for that golden ticket in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. TWG Tea Salon & Boutique Valentine’s Day Menu 2017
Love is in the air and I’ve been way too much in love with my new Playstation 4; a slight distraction at the moment. But. whether you’re single or in a relationship, we all got to eat on Valentine’s Day. This year TWG Tea Salon & Boutique is celebrating with a Valentine’s Day Menu that is infused with teas to reflect this season. I was invited to a tasting of it and I hope you fall in love with the photos.
TWG Tea Launches In North America
Happy New Year! Happy 2017 to you all! One of my plans on Dec 31, 2016 was to do a post on goals and what not for January 1, 2017 but that plan flew out of the door; breaking resolutions (#SortOfAResolution) already! But holy, I had the worst sleep pattern for the past few nights took a toll on my brain and there wasn’t enough coffee to set me straight. Hope you all had a great holiday!
I haven’t even really thought about what I want to do this year (can it be like, Dec, 33rd 2016 or something?!) BUT, there was some exciting things that happened last year that I haven’t shared on here. For example, The Urban Tea Merchant closed its doors and launched TWG Tea, the first North American Tea Salon & Boutique in Vancouver.
