Rarely do I walk by a piece of clothing and fall in love with it. Ted Baker’s Short Wool Wrap Coat had me smitten for months before I finally tried it and bought it (as *ahem* a birthday present for myself of course.) When I was in London 2.5 years ago, I was enamoured with Ted Baker’s patterns and styles and Vancouver finally had its own store. Often I feel myself look like a girl in a wool coat, but something about this Ted Baker one adds a new sense of confidence.
It’s December and today’s the day that I’m a year older and it’s time to get more of my sh*t together; though I DO feel like I have most things together. The past few months have been a whirlwind of craziness and I’m finally feeling a wee bit more legit in my job position that I’ve been for a few months, and here it’s getting busy cause CHRISTMAS PRODUCT REVIEWS! And the in between that, I still am trying to get back to your lovely comments (thank you so much as always,) and then going through all your lovely posts….and then binge watch Jessica Jones and squish in Once Upon A Time, and finally getting back into Doctor Who. Then I just spent a super chill and fun weekend in Sechelt and then back to reality I went.
I’ve been transitioning between feeling sleepy or feeling sick; and I’m pretty sure it has to do with extreme amounts of Netflix and the cold, darker weather we are getting now. No more prancing around in just a scarf and sweater; it’s almost time to bring out the winter gear cause I’m a wimp whenever it gets chilly. My office is usually pretty cold and I pretty much rely on a bunch of fluffiness to keep myself warm.
I apologize for my slight delay in catching up with life as I have been in a blanket burrito and watching Once Upon a Time for a few days. I was recently inspired by September’s Birchbox, where I reviewed recently here– sometimes when life throws challenges at us we just got to have confidence in ourselves to face it.
Hope you all are having a great long Thanksgiving weekend (if you’re in Canada!) I’ve pretty much spent the whole day in bed with a headache and binge watching on Netflix and no upcoming turkey plans. However, glad to see the sun’s out and I can still dress in those sort of warm-slightly chilly outfits. I think many of us can agree that layering is one of the best parts of chilly weather. That being said, fake layering is fun too. It makes me feel like I thought really hard of what I was going to wear but in fact, effort was minimal.
