I’ve been transitioning between feeling sleepy or feeling sick; and I’m pretty sure it has to do with extreme amounts of Netflix and the cold, darker weather we are getting now. No more prancing around in just a scarf and sweater; it’s almost time to bring out the winter gear cause I’m a wimp whenever it gets chilly. My office is usually pretty cold and I pretty much rely on a bunch of fluffiness to keep myself warm.
I apologize for my slight delay in catching up with life as I have been in a blanket burrito and watching Once Upon a Time for a few days. I was recently inspired by September’s Birchbox, where I reviewed recently here– sometimes when life throws challenges at us we just got to have confidence in ourselves to face it.
I don’t want to tempt anyone….but Shopbop finally have their Friends & Family sale where I sit in front of my computer and fill myself with eye candy and telling myself I don’t need another mouse product sitting in my room. Still, I can make a wishlist, can’t I?
Hope you all are having a great long Thanksgiving weekend (if you’re in Canada!) I’ve pretty much spent the whole day in bed with a headache and binge watching on Netflix and no upcoming turkey plans. However, glad to see the sun’s out and I can still dress in those sort of warm-slightly chilly outfits. I think many of us can agree that layering is one of the best parts of chilly weather. That being said, fake layering is fun too. It makes me feel like I thought really hard of what I was going to wear but in fact, effort was minimal.
My unsaid desire for a large floppy hat started to grow when Gossip Girls was on TV and Serena van der Woodsen and Blair Waldorf were my holy grail fashion icons. Well…I think the hat trend has started to be popular here which means MORE varieties to get a hat from! After trying on a bunch and enduring frizzy hat hair, I have finally found one that suits what I wear and the shape and size of my somewhat square head. [Read more…]
