Among my friends, I am pretty much known for enjoying anything ginger flavoured. This is probably because my stomache is as soft as tofu so I am sensitive to many foods, and anything ginger will calm me down immensely. I even have a ginger candle at home, thank goodness my boyfriend is ok with it! When I was in Amsterdam, I probably spent a good chunk of money on their ginger tea alone. Skincare spotlight: Kosmea Australia
My blog has been a bit saturated with skincare lately, and the latest brand I’ve been trying is born and bred in Australia: Kosema. It was found in 1993 and their mission was to alter the way people taking care of their skin by using natural skin care. I don’t use or own a lot of ‘natural’ skincare products so I was excited to implement something different in my skincare routine. Part of the reason why I probably don’t have a lot of natural or organic skincare is that they’re not as often seen in big department malls. My Europe Beauty Haul
After exhausting weeks of work and a 15 day Europe trip, I’m back and can’t wait to share my Europe beauty haul! I stopped at London, Edinburgh, York, Paris, and Amsterdam and picked up some beauty products along the way. I definitely plan to do some travel related posts but I haven’t bought beauty stuff for so long, it was exciting!
Paris is where I purchased 99% of the products. Although I didn’t spend enough to get the VAT refund (~20% tax refund for being a non European local,) there were still good savings on same products that could be purchased in Canada. [Read more…]
