I’ve been on this post for a while as one of my boxes of makeup got lost amongst moving from condo to home and luckily it was hiding in my friend’s car! Phew, glad I did NOT lose my Catrice Cosmetics products. These were sent to me for a review and I was excited to see this European brand in Canada now! Now that I have more time at home, I will be doing more makeup looks and keep this as a “first impressions” post – so prepare for lots of photos!
I haven’t used a single blush for so long (I think 90% of my blushes are in palettes) and the Catrice Blush Box in shade Berry is so gorgeous! It added a nice natural hint of pink tinge on my cheeks. It’s soft, build-able…and costs $7.99 CAD! This is a really pretty daily blush and I know it’s going to last me a long time before I hit pan!
The Catrice x Eman collection consists of three palettes that pretty much covers a lot of makeup needs in your kit. The Eyeshadow Palette, Highlighter Palette, and Blush Palette all consists of high quality powders with lots of great pigmentation!
Catrice x EMAN Eyeshadow Palette ($14.99 CAD): 9 shades that can create a nice natural eye or smokey eye look. Five of the shades has a matte finish and 4 has a shimmer finish. They are all blendable and the colour can be built up to suit whatever eye look you are most comfortable with.
Catrice x EMAN Highlighter Palette ($14.99 CAD): This palette has four shades of highlight – from a frosty shimmer to a sun-kissed bronze. The shade “Victoria” is a gold shimmer and adds so much dimension to my cheeks; I can see its reflection against my window!
Catrice x EMAN Blush Palette ($14.99 CAD): There are four shades that adds a nice flush on the cheeks- whether you are looking for a more pink or a more coral blush. If you take a look at the swatches, you can see how

The Catrice Cosmetics Liquid Camouflage High Coverage Concealer ($7.99 CAD) joins my washroom in the category of “makeup that I use more often.” I think this works equally, if not better, than Tarte’s Shape Tape which I paid probably close to $40 for. I’ve gotten a lot of compliments on how smooth my skin looks and it’s thanks to this guy in smoothing out the blemishes around my lips and covers up my under eyes. I received shade 015 Honey which matched my warm yellow skintone.
One of the products that didn’t work out for me is the Generation Plump & Shine Lip Gloss ($7.99 CAD). My lips are quite thick already and these kind of just made my lips look a bit gloopier and it was sticky on me.
The Prime and Fine Dewy Glow Fixing Spray ($9.99CAD) is a great makeup setting spray that does not break the budget! It did make my skin look very glowy (especially in the Instagram photos where I got complimented on my skin – it was this!) Also – since this is 50mL; you can carry this on the plane to freshen up! (I’m missing travelling so much right now….)
Long ago I used to splurge on $40 primers and I’m glad to have found a better alternative. The Prime and Fine Pore Refining Anti-Shine Base Keep me Matt Primer($9.99CAD) makes my skin a canvas when putting on makeup. More often than not, I put concealer on dried up red zits and using a primer + concealer on those areas helped my looks and confidence.

Don’t mind my fuzzy brows here; but my makeup look below includes
- Prime and Fine Pore Refining Anti-Shine Base Keep me Matt Primer
- Liquid Camouflage High Coverage Concealer
- Generation Plump & Shine Lip Gloss
- Catrice x EMAN Highlighter Palette – wearing Whistler and Victoria
- Catrice x EMAN Blush Palette – wearing Luxor and Cairo
My nose usually looks like a patched up pillow of different shades; the concealer hid all the problem areas around the sides! Catrice Cosmetics certainly made my skin feel radiant and the formulas for all the cheek makeup blew me away. The prices for their products is especially attractive!
Hope you are all keeping safe and well!
