A few months ago, I went to an event that featured a sneak preview of Christmas products for The Body Shop. Fast forward to now, the fun and magical atmosphere has certainly took over every store. Recently, I visited The Body Shop at Richmond Centre to get a taste of what kind of gifts are available – and there’s so many options for every price point! I collaborated with The Body Shop to bring you a this (very last minute,) gift guide.
Eugene from The Body Shop walked me through the gift options. This year, The Body Shop’s theme this year is to forget about being an adult and have fun! The packaging is inspired by games; some of the boxes look like playing cards or will have a spinner on them! Every gift purchased from the seasonal collection supports the Peace Play Project in Lebanon for a year. This initiative funds refugee children to have a safe place for them.
I realized I didn’t take any closeups of products in the store; but if you can see- there’s a LOT of things with a great range of prices.
So how to choose the right gift?? As a beauty blogger, of course I couldn’t resist the 24 days of Beauty Advent Calendar ($69 CAD). There’s nothing more fun than getting mini surprises almost everyday in a month, and this present is perfect for any ages!
I want to SMELL like Christmas too when it’s Christmas time. The Body Shop has three seasonal fragrances in their lineup – Frosted Plum, Vanilla Chai, and Frosted Berries. They come in fun tins or giftboxes. The Vanilla Chai Festive Tin ($28 CAD) is pretty much a giant ornament filled with mini sized products including a Shower Gel, Body Scrub, Body Butter, and Hand Cream.
If you enjoy all the other scents that The Body Shop regularly carries, now is the best time to pick up a gift for yourself and smother yourself with your favourite scented lotions and creams. One of my favourites is the Wild Argan Oil line! I find their lotions to be one of the more nourishing ones and it has a light, sweet scent that isn’t overpowering in a fruity or florally one.
The Wild Argan Oil Festive Gift Set ($28 CAD) has a loofah, 250mL size Shower Gel, and mini Body Scrub, Body Butter, and a Wild Argan Oil Soap. Plus, the backside of the lid has a cute “free the rabbit” maze game!
Other sets I really enjoy is the Hemp Expert Manicure Set mostly because the box is genius and cute at the same time. My hands feel like paper every time I wash my hands in the water and I think it’s a great gift to treat your skin this winter. The Richmond Centre location was almost sold out of the Countdown To New Year set, and that is something I’d add to my wishlist too. It contains multiple products including Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Glow Mask. Overall, there’s so many options that you can gift to yourself, family, and friends from The Body Shop and with their Peace Play Project, it really is a gift that gives back.
