I’ve finally crawled out of my hole and back on here! I almost forgot how to blog and it was almost hard getting back into this routine. I’m also back to wearing a lot of makeup and look like my face didn’t go through hell. Some of the lipsticks I’ve been trying out are the new Lise Watier Rouge Intense Suprême Lipsticks. I’m quite happy to be wearing a lipstick that isn’t a liquid or a matte; cream lipsticks have always been a favourite for me!
The Lise Watier Rouge Intense Suprême Lipsticks ($27 CAD) comes in a long, gunmetal tube with a magnetic lid. They’re light and easy to throw in a pouch without taking up too space – this I like very much. I definitely need a mirror to apply this precisely on my lips, since the surface area is a bit wide but the lipstick isn’t angled enough to apply easily (if you get my drift haha.)
Lise Watier’s signature Labrador Tea Extract is infused, giving the lipstick antioxidant properties. These lipsticks are creamy, smooth, buttery, pigmented, and smooths out the lines on my lips. Yes, I DO like these Rouge Intense Suprême a lot!!
They lasted around 3 hours on me and they were so comfortable and I wasn’t scrambling for a lip balm in my bag. Cream lipsticks do transfer between coffee cups and food, but this doesn’t really bother me anymore.
I was sent three shades to try:
- Maya; a warm nude-peach
- Zoe; a juicy pink
- Arielle; pale pink

Arielle is a shade that definitely doesn’t suit my skin tone; it’s a bit too light for me. Zoe and Maya

The swatches looked a bit different on my arm compared to on my lips; I recommend trying them out before purchasing. I’d say the Lise Watier Rouge Intense Suprême Lipsticks are worth a splurge as you are getting a good, solid lipstick coupled with a nice sleek housing!
PS – So I just watched the movie Get Out today; and needless to say, I am SO glad the sun sets later these days. I know I’ll be replaying some very creepy scenes in my head, thanks for nothing, good imagination. Anyone seen this movie yet?
You can purchase Lise Watier at Shoppers Drug Mart and London Drugs, or online.
