Once Christmas ended, Valentine’s products started being saturated. As nice as it is to show our love to our significant others, I think it’s just as important to show a bit of woman power and share love with the other powerful females in our lives! We got to face the truth, we ain’t getting young no more and taking care of ourselves is vital; something I always talk about…got to treat yo’self! 😉
As 20 something year olds, we spend a ton of time at work, making us look as haggard as a Hagrid and I found a mix of cute and effective products on iHerb that will pamper my friend from head to toe.
I spent the longest time on the K-Beauty page on iHerb, as there were so many cute products to choose from and if you’re from Vancouver, you know that reasonably priced Korean beauty products aren’t the most easily obtainable. I chose the TonyMoly Banana Sleeping Pack because it’s sure to bring a smile to a face and you can wake up with moisturized skin. Constantly working comes hand in hand with not getting enough sleep; Petitfee Hydro Gel Eye & Spot Patch is the perfect thing to slab on your eyebags in the morning while doing your daily routine. AND they’re so gold and shiny and pretty!!
Eye bags and healthy skin products; covered! Alba Botanica is a brand that I wanted to try more of (but also not very common in Vancouver,) so I had to add the Hawaiian deep conditioning minute mask from iHerb. It uses 100% vegetarian ingredients and is paraben free; plus it has a solid 4 star review from over 205 reviews. Continuing on with brands that contain healthy ingredients, the Badger Foot Balm and Badger Lip Balm are perfect to soothe dry and cracked skin on the feet and lips. Both of these products are cruelty free and use organic ingredients. I like badgers since you know ‘honey badger don’t give a sh*t!” and that’s a message I hope my friend remembers to not let the little things get in her way.
A complete pampering experience must include a bath (or is that just me?) I chose the Aura Cacia Aromatherapy Foam Bath in Invigorating Ginger & Mint. We are still in cold season and giving the gift of relaxation is perfect around Valentine’s Day. Finish off the bath with Giovanni Hot Chocolate Sugar Scrub; can’t say no to chocolate that doesn’t melt and makes your skin feel like a million dollars! To enrich the skin after a bath and scrub, the Now Foods, Solutions Avocado Oil is 100% Pure Avocado Oil that gives your skin one of the best drinks ever! Not just for your skin either, you can use the oil as a makeup remover, or like on your eyebrows (gotta keep them eyebrow hair shiny!!) Also kudos to iHerb putting the oil in a plastic ziploc bag, an oil spill in a box would certainly be disastrous and a downer.
The prices on iHerb are fantastic and my total was $50USD on the dot! Both the wallet and your bestie can be happy. Online shopping was very easy and you can even pay the shipping and duties on iHerb so you don’t have to worry about getting charged when you get the package (we all know how annoying that is.) You can find over 35,000 products of herbs, supplements, beauty products, and more plus they ship to over 160 countries.
