Why isn’t there an adult Halloween Trick or Treat session?! We can be giving out Lush bath bombs instead of candy – so much healthier (but pricier haha!) Hands down, Lush has the cutest themed bath products and Halloween is no exception!
The Monster’s Ball ($7.25CAD) is like Hagrid’s Fluffy of bath bombs; you think it’s going to be a cute little thing but it packs a punch. If you’re having a gloomy day, this little guy will make ya happy- it’ll just last only once! The Monster’s Ball has a sweet, citrusy scent. It contains lime oil, neroli oil as well as fair trade cocoa butter. Once thrown it into the deadly water of the bath tub, your Monster’s Ball will fizzle into a a galaxy of purple, pink, and blue; it’s super pretty! My skin was left feeling really smooth after!
Beware, the Monster’s Ball does poop a bit of powder around.
How pretty is this! For a more relaxing bath; the Autumn Leaf ($6.95 CAD) bath bomb gives you a cozy moment to yourself. It contains neroli, bergamot, and sandalwood that uplifts the mood and makes you feel relaxed and stressed free before bedtime. It turns into a rainbow of colours in the water; the shades of blue, green, and yellow kind is like a story of seasons changing (but in your bathtub!)
Ok, a lot of props to Lush for this Magic Wand soap ($6.95 for 100g) because their description is – “Magical folk and muggles alike will love lathering up with this soap imbued with a sweet, fruity perfume.” MUGGLES!!! Is Lush a secret Harry Potter fan?!
The wand choose the wizard and as the Magic Wand soap landed on my doorstep in my press package, obviously it chose me to test it out! The soap contains pomegranate, which brightens the skin, and the dark outer layer contains charcoal, great for detoxifying and deep cleansing. This wedge cut made it really easy to rub it across my body and left my skin feeling moisturized. It contains rapeseed oil and coconut oil; scent wise I mostly get whiffs of citrus due to the presence of orange oil and tangerine oil. It does leave a yellow/green stain if you leave it on a white, clean surface.
I hope every student in Hogwarts got to use one of these!
I don’t know about you, but as a noob in partying and too old to trick or treat for candy, I rather spend my Halloween soaking in a tub and eating discount candy. All these cute bath things just make me super happy and Lush stuff always takes my stress and worries away (did I mention that they are probably a Harry Potter fan too?!)
