Hi hi everyone! Sorry it’s been a week since I last updated; I’ve been waking up at 5am accidentally almost daily and my blogging energy reserves took a dip. But I had some wine a few hours ago and my heart is racing like when I first tried Marc Jacobs Le Marc Lip Creme.
Marc Jacobs bags and wallets are absolutely beautiful, but sometimes they seem a bit too pricey for what they are. Thank goodness for Shopbop sales once in a while. When a beauty line came out, I was pretty excited but I haven’t felt the urge to purchase anything yet, most likely I was worried about splurging on something I don’t need. Luckily, I got to try Marc Jacobs Le Marc Lip Creme ($38CAD,) one of the most creamiest and longest wearing lipsticks I’ve used.
The sleek black bullet with the silver details is quite fashionable and I think it goes along with Marc Jacobs’ accessories really well. The case is magnetic and when you slide the lid back over the bullet, you hear a secure *click.*
One of the most important part of lipsticks nowadays is having it not dry out your lips. The Le Marc Lip Creme Lipstick contains seaberry and moisturizers including cocoa butter and meranti. The lipstick glides on buttery and it was easy to cover the lines of my lips smoothly. (I’ve noticed that there’s a lot of great lipsticks nowadays, but some of them are really difficult to sculpt the cupid’s bow neatly!)
The shade #228 Infamous is described as a “soft peony,” – this is like a dusty dark rose shade and one swipe gives solid pigmentation.
The Marc Jacobs Le Marc Lip Creme lipstick says that it would lasts for ten hours. I didn’t wear it for that long, but I’ve worn it for around five hours for no problem, and I’ve also taken a nap with it on and it didn’t budge. It’s not transfer proof but definitely it will add a long lasting colour on yo face (without feeling dry!)
Infamous is a pink that I can wear daily and the Marc Jacobs Le Marc Lip Creme is awesome if you don’t want to constantly reapply your lip colour. The price might be a bit off-putting; as it is around the same price for Dior or Burberry lipsticks. Marc Jacobs beauty products are calling out my name though!!
