My brain is still in ‘want to be in a holiday’ mood and my nails are decorated with a glittery, shimmery colour from Sephora’s Formula X Collection. Alchemy II ($16 CAD) was part of Sephora’s holiday collection in 2015 and I just came around to wearing it.
Alchemy II is a coppery, rose gold nail polish with lots of micro glitters. Two coats gave me perfect coverage and it dried surprisingly fast on my nails with no dents or anything! You get a very shiny, clean finish (and even a guy complimented on the shininess of the nails!) Alchemy II screams ‘party all night long’ and ‘I’m your awesome New Year’s companion,’ sadly I didn’t have enough festivities to wear this to. I really like how easy this was to apply and it complements my plain work outfits.
I’m almost 100% sure this isn’t at stores anymore since it was a limited edition product; but let’s hope Sephora comes out with a Alchemy III for Christmas 2016!
I have a few other Sephora Formula X polishes and the quality is pretty good; I wore a dark red shade for more than a week during my Hong Kong trip and it fared SO much better than I expected. More boring nail swatches to come soon….unless I can think of some fancy art!
