Let’s start with something I haven’t done in a long time…a haul! I have only purchased two things since the last VIB sale (high five!) and I didn’t want to really overspend for this VIB Rouge sale. I went to my first VIB Rouge after hours event for the first time, since I am not making the VIB Rouge mark this year, so might as well enjoy it. Honestly, half of me went was to check out the free treats- Godiva chocolates were dropping in my pocket and bag when I left the store.
I went to Sephora and left within 20 minutes to avoid lineups and excessive people. Andddd this is what I came out with…..
Sephora Favourites Extend Your Style Dry Shampoo Collection ($39 CAD; $31.20 after discount)
I had an eye on this set since summer time and was the first thing that went into my basket in Sephora. The Drybar Detox Dry Shampoo is worth $16.25 alone (yes a bit ridiculous if you think about it!) Now I can always carry one of these in my purse for the day old hair and touch up during work. I’ve tried the Living Proof Perfect Hair Day dry shampoo in store before; it was lightweight and smelled great- glad to see it in this set too!
Caudalie Mask Trio ($39 CAD; $31.20 after discount)
The trio comes with a full sized Instant Detox Mask that retails for $39, so you’re pretty much getting 2x 25mL of the Glycolic Peel mask and Moisturizing Mask for “free!” I’ve read some good reviews of these masks; *cross fingers* for more radiant, moisturized skin in the future!
Kat Von D Ink Liner ($23 CAD; $18.40 after discount)
I’ve been a long time fan of the Tattoo Liner for years, so this time I wanted to try the Ink Liner. Hopes this works as well as the Tattoo Liner!
Becca Glow On The Go ($24 CAD; $19.20 after discount)
Becca has been a brand on my watch for a while; this little kit is the perfect time for me to play around with them and see the quality. I didn’t jump into the Champagne Pop bandwagon, but this shiny set drew me in. This set contains the Shimmering Skin Perfector Spotlight Opal and Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Opal.

Total Purchased: $100 on the dot! And of course there was a lovely sample bag…
Samples included: Bumble and Bumble Repair Blow Dry, Fresh Creme Ancienne Ultimate Nourishing Honey Mask, Fresh Creme Ancienne Soft Cream, Benefit Gimme Brow, Kat Von D Studded Kiss Lipstick in Lolita, and Clarins Super Restorative Total Eye Concentrate
Now….onto my wishlist and loves!
Benefit Cosmetics Operation Pore Proof Kit ($44 CAD; $35.20 after discount)
Ok, I actually have this product but I recommend it because a)THAT cute packaging and B) pores no more! Benefit base products keeps my makeup intact all day and prevents shine on my nose.
Peter Thomas Roth Cucumber Detox Hydrating and Soothing Kit ($60 CAD; $48 after discount)
I couldn’t find the online link for it; it must be sold out already?! I saw it in stores now and sorely tempted to get it; I’ve tried the cucumber mask before and it made my skin baby soft in the morning even when I forgot to put on moisturizer and other shiz after.
GlamGlow Poutmud Fizzy Lip Exfoliating Treatment & Wet Lip Balm Treatment Duo ($49 CAD; $39.20 after discount)
I know that getting lip exfoliant is waste, WHICH is why I’m not getting it but it’s still on my wishlist. The packaging is so pretty and GlamGlow for lips, yes please!
Bite Beauty Discovery Set ($59 CAD;$47.20 after discount)
This eight piece set comes with three FULL SIZED products; Luminous Crème Lipstick in Pepper, Lush Fruit Lip Gloss Honey, and High Pigment Pencil in Pomegranate. If I didn’t feel guilty of having Bite Beauty lippies already, this would’ve been in my basket faster than Harry Potter catching a snitch.
Too Faced Melted Kisses & Sweet Cheeks ($45 CAD; $36 after discount)
Too Faced Melted Lipsticks are also on my radar; I might just buy a full sized one for $25 (with discount) before the sale ends as I don’t need anymore blushes- but for anyone looking to try the brand, this is a cute and sweet deal!
