Thank you all for the love in the previous post, you guys are amazing and brightened up my day! My heart still aches and my brain’s still angry; believe me I would LOVE to share all the screenshots of the conversation that happened but got to keep my blog to a classy minimum! When someone promised you forever and failed the deliver and plan to stay in another country forever without discussing, it was a failed happy ending to begin with. Well, at least I got my blog and makeup collection to smile over; here’s a recent Fall-ish look I put together with makeup products I haven’t used in a while!
One of the newest editions to my makeup stash is the Lise Watier EYEvolution Eyeshadow Quartet* from their new fall collection (posts with swatches to come soon!) I don’t usually do a smokey eye, but combined with the Lise Watier’s summer Rivages Eyeshadow Palette, I did a gold-purple eye which I’m pretty excited to wear more often.
For the rest of my eyes, I used my trust Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in Trooper (review here,) CoverGirl The Super Sizer mascara* (review here,) + Make Up For Ever Smoky Stretch* mascara (review here) and NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer for the undereye. To add a bit of highlight to the centre of my nose, cupid’s bow, and brow bone- I’ve been using Chella Ivory Lace Highlighter* which I received at last year’s London Drugs Fall Makeup Preview event!
For my face, I am wearing Dior DiorSkin Star Foundation SPF 30 in #020 and Dior Rose Diamond Skin Shimmer on my cheeks. I think they stopped selling Rose Diamond a while ago, so sad! Okay- got to be honest though, it looks GORGEOUS in the pan and when swatched, but the shimmer does get stuck in my pores and is a bit tedious to blend it all out. My palette is so dusty too. *sigh* I bought this two years ago and need to try to use this more!
My eyes do look shimmery but once I put those glasses on, all the drama disappears and I’m left with a bit of definition. AND…I realized I didn’t take a picture of the lipstick I’m wearing! I am wearing Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet L’Infidele which was purchased in 2012! I really got to use it more often before it goes bad..(or it may already have and I ate expired Chanel #firstworldproblems.)
My look ended up being purpley-pinky than I anticipated and not my usual look, but I guess it’s fitting for the changing in seasons…and changes in my life. I’ve been following @thegoodquote on Instagram lately and everything speaks to my life in this instant. The quotes by Beau Taplin really speaks to me and motivates me to explore all my creative side now, no turning back Whitney!!
