We all know Bioderma is like the god of makeup removers; I have a few Bioderma Sensibio Make-Up removing micellar solution at home, so when I was introduced to a milk cleanser, it got my interest. I love anything with milk, except drinking milk itself bwahaha, the irony. Bioderma Sensibio 3-in-1 One Step Cleansing Milk ($19 CAD) does three things- cleanses, tones, and removes eye makeup. It’s marketed to be a product that doesn’t require a rinse off after using it. Lazy people beauty product….YES!
The 3-in-1 One Step Cleansing Milk would feel quite different if you are used to the micellar water makeup remover, as the cleansing milk is obviously thicker and feels a bit like using a moisturizer. My eyes often feel dry if I use a lot of makeup remover to get rid of the gritty eyeshadow + mascara + eyeliner, so using something as rich as this made my eyes feel comfortable. As for cleansing and toning, I feel that the Bioderma Sensibio 3-in-1 One Step Cleansing Milk does leave behind a film of residue over my skin, so I wouldn’t go to sleep with just this, but it does make a good quick makeup cleanser on the face to get rid of foundation/blush before cleansing the skin.
The cleansing milk also contains Toléridine® patent which increases the tolerance of sensitive skin as well as helps the skin to be less prone to attacks. It also has Glycyrrhetinic acid for smoothing and soothing qualities. It definitely isn’t any ordinary milk- sensitive skin people you may want to look into this; as I don’t have sensitive skin I can’t guarantee how it will work though.
If you’re a ” if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” person and see the micellar solution as your holy grail, then perhaps you don’t need this. However, the 3 in 1 One Step Milk Cleanser helps with those dry skin feels and this can be used with just your hands rather than infinite cotton pads. I am so guilty in the wastefulness of cotton, it’s something I’m working on.
