Almost Monochrome

I have my lazy days then I have my “dress maturely” days. And I have the days where I ditch the colour and go for an almost monochrome look; I’d throw in some colour using accessories rather than clothes.

I’ve been more comfortable wearing skirts now, I guess that would have to do with age eh? Lately, I’ve been loving this wrap skirt, the Dahlia Skirt, that was gifted from Orb Clothing. It’s at a length where I feel comfortable and the material is super flexible and easy to wear (I also don’t feel stuffy as I eat, which is a BONUS when wearing a skirt.) The wrapped details make the skirt more fun to wear; come to think of it, many of my skirt have some kind of flare or detailing to it!

I’m dressing the Dahlia skirt with a black sweater from Mango; they carry some of the best basic tops! I’m adding some blue to my neutral coloured outfit with my statement J-Crew necklace and my lovely Pandora bracelet. Since the rainy season seems to have passed, I’m breaking into my summer themed items, namely my favourite Marc by Marc Jacobs mouse flats and my white/straw shoulder bag from Kate Spade. This bag is one of my all time favourite summer accessories and I know this skirt will join those ranks too! Perhaps I’ll take it along with me to China!
