A tren chcoat rarely goes out of style and it honestly makes me feel like from looking like a student to a more mature young adult. Orb Clothing, a long time favourite Vancouver based brand, recently sent me a few pieces to try and Rosemary Long Sleeve 5-in-1- Jacket was the perfect addition to my spring wardrobe.
I used to shop in the Kitsilano area a lot when I went to UBC, and Orb Clothing was one of the shops I loved to visit. They had great quality and stylish rain jackets which is a MUST for Vancouver weather, as well as snowboarding/skiing jackets. Unfortunately the store isn’t there anymore but they do have a warehouse in Vancouver. Orb Clothing also had a few warehouse sales in the past which my friends and I went together for a nice splurge. Orb is taking a new turn into their fashion and have been putting out styles that are more casual and suited for “street style.” What I love about this jacket is that it can be worn in 5 different ways! The bottom half of the trench and the sleeves are detachable, so it can be worn as a sleeveless trench, a short jacket, a vest jacket, a vest, or just like a regular trench coat.
This outfit was worn to an afternoon tea service tasting at The Urban Tea Merchant; and I don’t have much fancy-high-tea outfits on backup, so I wore a casual outfit and threw on the Rosemary Jacket to add a bit of maturity and formality. The jacket is an “XS,” and fits the length of my arms and shoulders perfectly, but I can’t wear thick layers underneath. This jacket is definitely more suited for the warmer weather and I can’t wait to wear it more often as the sun comes out more! It was chilly the day I wore this, so I wore my mom’s black cashmere sweater from Club Monaco. To add somoe colour to my neutral outfit, I took out the Rebecca Minkoff Mini Mab Tote! Electric blue rarely goes wrong!
