There are days when you just need a simple pink blush (or everyday….) to prevent yourself looking like a Walking Dead character and I was pleasantly surprised with Annabelle Cosmetics’ Blushon blush in Rosebud.
Annabelle Blushon blushes has no bells and whistles- you get your pan of blush in a plastic, somewhat bulky, casing. It is rather thick and I thought there would be a mirror or a small brush under the pan, but it’s just its plastic holder. Despite that, everything else is commendable.
Rosebud is a cool toned, matte pink colour and I fell in love at first swatch. I actually think it’s my first matte pink blush in my collection! The formula of the powder is finely milled, smooth, and velvety; it’s a high quality blush with a drugstore price tag! It is a lot more pigmented than I expected and when I dipped my brush in it, I had to pat some of it off.
With excellent color payoff, the blush easily lasted on me for around 6 hours before I noticed that my cheeks weren’t as colourful as early on. I was wonderfully surprised by how great the blush worked with my complexion and that it didn’t dry off my skin. I’m not sure how the price varies, but I found it on the London Drugs store site for $7.99! Highly recommend if you are looking for a blush on a budget!
