I just had a jam packed weekend of finishing the Parasyte the Maxim finale, 24 episodes of Aldnoah Zero and attending a wedding. Though I was a bridesmaid, I didn’t really want to do anything fancy to my hair; I just wanted a clean and sleek look so I used the Living Proof Perfect Hair Day 5 in 1 Styling Treatment.
The Perfect Hair Day 5 in 1 Treatment ($32 CAD) is an oil free and silicone free styling product that gives hair volume, smoothness, conditioning, strength, and polish. The styling treatment also protects hair from heat, UV, and static. PSSST… Jennifer Anniston is the co-owner and hair care spokesperson for Living Proof, totally wouldn’t mind getting hair like hers! Sounds like a lottery winner?
Living Proof Perfect Hair Day 5-in-1 styling treatment is creamy product and has a light scent that smells a bit citrus-y to me. I have quite a bit of hair on my head so I used around ….5 times of a pea sized amount? The product is used on damp hair- evenly distribute it from the roots to the ends and comb through. For best results, blow dry!
I’ve been using this product for a while, but just recently took some “before” and “after” pictures, where the before pictures are probably blackmail worthy…..please I just stepped out of a shower, ain’t no Cinderella (that was a pretty good movie btw!)

Results- minimized frizz at the top and sides of my hair! I did not use any other heat styling tools other than a blow dryer, but my hair still looked somewhat straight and my bangs look manageable. I did put some product on the ends of my hair, but it seems that area is probably most damaged (hello split ends!) and require some more TLC. Out of the “5” types of treatment, I feel that a bit more volume would’ve been nice, but nowadays my incredibly thick hair has been weighing down everything. I can go for a day without washing my hair when using this product, then I could feel the grease start to build up.
Overall, the Living Proof Perfect Hair 5 in 1 Treatment may not have given me the perfect hair day, but it was pretty darn close in my books. So far, I’ve only seen it being sold at Sephora, and though it is a bit pricey, it is well worth it for those special occasions if you don’t want to do much hair styling.
How do you style your hair mostly? Hairspray? Hair oil? Blow dry? Air dry?
