Starting off the month of March a bit slow,but my backlog of beauty blog posts will be on here soon. So I’ve been a prettttty good resistor lately, I haven’t bought any clothes/makeup since boxing day when I was down in the states. That is probably a record. I mayyyy be breaking it this week though because Shopbop is having their big spring sale! Jeans
I used to wear $10 jeans from sale racks..then $15…and then now I wear jeans that are in the $25-$65 (damn you Topshop) range. I’ve been wanting to invest in a nice pair of jeans that fits well according to my height and size. There’s not a lot of brands available in Vancouver, wish I could travel down to LA and go shop! I’ve been keeping an eye on a few pairs of distressed jeans for the upcoming spring/summer.

Bags
Most of my bags are dark coloured- black, blue…more black. I’ve been wanting a light coloured or pastel bag for a while (perfect for spring too eh), though my main concern is that my jeans will end up rubbing off on the bag! All these bags seem spacious enough to fit my essentials and possibly a water bottle (or my flattened water bottle. Those things are life savers!) I always enjoy carrying a cross body rather than a satchel, since I don’t like holding onto things? #FirstWorldProblems 🙁

Shoes
I have way too many flats (that aren’t even very comfortable,) so two out of my three shoe choices includes the Superga sneakers and the Marc by Marc Jacobs loafters. I own a pair of Marc Jacobs mouse flats, and the loafers are another cutie that is on my wishlist. They looks super comfy too. And though I said I had enough flats, the Kate Spade flats have a super cute checkered pattern, with a bow! Two things I love in one!

So many combinations in dressing up the jeans/shoes/and bag! I find that I much prefer shopping for a bag than a more expensive shirt, are you like that too? My outfits at work are as casual as ever (hoodies + jeans + random sweater) so I prefer a few statement pieces instead; clothes always gets hidden under my layers because I fear the cold like no tomorrow!
