You all know by now that I love wearing different glasses, and there’s hardly any pictures of me without them; and recently I had the opportunity to review a pair of glasses from Polette. Polette is a French brand and a leader on the online optical market and they’re opening in North America too! Polette carries a variety of glasses, sunglasses, and designer frame+lenses from $6.99.
While surfing the Polette online store, there were styles of frames from vintage to modern. I prefered a simple, black pair of glasses since I wear glasses to pretty much all occasions and pair them with casual to formal outfits. My face is small and I have a low nose bridge; so I was quite selective in the size and type of frames. I opted for the Marabout frames ($19.99) and with my high prescription and astigmatism, they cost under $100. This pair was made out of plastic, so it was very light so that means less of a chance to get a headache! I used to wear metal glasses and it felt heavy around the head. If you are looking for affordable and good quality frames, check out Polette’s website, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter for updates and their styles!
PS- It was a very rainy day in Vancouver when I shot these photos, and my Superdry jacket kept me super dry and warm. My scarf is actually a shawl cape from Oasap; it makes a great scarf -to-blanket when I’m at home or at the office and it keeps me super warm! Also, my new partner in crime is the Rebecca Minkoff Mini Mab Tote; it’s cute, small, and carries all my basic essentials.
