Christmas is almost here and luckily it isn’t too cold yet. I’ve purchased a few new things lately, namely a new jacket that gives me Sherlock feels (Benedict Cumberbatch looks so good in high collared coats,) and a new handbag. Instead of doing some makeup review or some shopping haul, I’m going to hop into sharing my weekend outfit details.
I’ve been wanting a detective, Sherlock-like jacket for a while now (see picture below for reference) and I found a wool coat from Zara couple months ago. The coat is tailored at the waist, so it looks slimming and the length of the coat isn’t overwhelming my short height.
Neutral coloured clothing has been my to go pretty much all winter long (grey coat, black bag, black boots…) so this time I added a bit of brightness to my outfit with a mint fuzzy sweater from Forever 21. It’s super cozy and warm, though the fluff does fly around everywhere end end up in my food or table from time to time. I’m still donning the same pair of Topshop Leigh jeans that I’ve shown in my past outfit posts. I always indistinctly grab these pair whenever I am going out.
As a fan of cobalt blue, that line of blue on my boots from Just Fab sold me. They’re (surprisingly) comfortable for $39.99! I unsubb-ed to their membership program a while ago cause I hated to remember to skip every month. I bought this pair since I forgot to skip a month once; and then called to cancel my membership for once and for all. Keeping up with subscription sites is too much of a hassle for me, how bout you?
Lastly, I am loving my Foley and Corinna handbag from Shopbop. For someone who carries her life in a bag ( hot water thermos, micro 4/3 camera, wallet, cell phone, multiple lip balms/lipsticks, more makeup, tums…) I wanted a mid sized bag that can come with me to events, dates, outings. I was debating between the Frame Satchel and the Frame Mini Shopper Bag, but went for the mini bag at the end (sold out too now!)
