Tis the season to be jolly, fa la la la la la . I’m a huge sucker for Christmas gift sets, heck I even secretly buy a few for myself then a few to give away. The Body Shop does great Holiday gift sets (have you seen the one packaged in an apple tin, too cute!) There’s a huge selection of gifts of varying prices to choose from, and I have here the Olive Premium Selection, so you can have a bit of idea what kind of festive things The Body Shop has in store for all of you whose doing your Christmas shopping.
Before even getting into what’s inside a gift, I always stop to admire the packaging like this. I’m a box collector (I have a shoeboxes of boxes and those boxes contain more boxes…it’s OCD,) and the box housing the Olive Premium Set is a sturdy, green box with Christmas-y font on the front. If you have no present wrapping skills, thank goodness these are packaged beautifully already!!
Inside, there are five products reflecting the Olive line from The Body Shop. What’s included in the Olive Premium Set ($45) is:
- Olive Body Butter 200 ml
- Olive Body Scrub 200 ml
- Olive Soap 100g
- Olive Beautifying Oil 100 ml
- Green Mini Bath Lily
Olive oil is a commonly used product for beauty and is a great natural moisturizer and I think moms, sisters, boyfriend’s moms would appreciate a set like this. (Even men too, if they’re a bath kinda guy!) The body butter is a cult favourite from The Body Shop and they have never failed me in providing hydration and moisturizer to the skin. Smooth skin results from maintenance, and using the Olive Body Scrub is a creamy exfoliant that contains crushed walnut shells and olive stones. This set also contains a bath lily so you can really scrub those dead skin cells away in the shower! I normally don’t use soap in the shower, but The Body Shop soaps are handy for hand washing without feeling the dry effect from regular soaps.

Body oil is becoming increasingly popular; the the Olive Beautifying Oil is a multi-tasking product that can be used on the body, face, and hair. I sometimes mix my lotion with some oil for an ultimate hydrating combo.
This year, The Body Shop has partnered with War Child. For every gift purchased from The Body Shop, a class will be provided for a child in a war-torn country; one gift = one class. More information can be found on The Body Shop website here. It’s very easy to get caught up in present shopping for others and yourself; and The Body Shop is giving an opportunity for shoppers to buy selected gifts and simultaneously it someone else in the world will be gifted too. Being brought up with good education helped me get where I am today, and it’s great to see other companies giving these chances to those who need it.
The Olive Premium Set has a bit of everything to bring you smooth and radiant skin over the holidays. This is one of the many gift sets that can be purchased that gifts a class to a child. If olive isn’t your cup of tea, there are other amazing scents such as Glazed Apple, Mango, Shea Butter, and more! I have listed some products below of other gift sets I have my eye on. I actually have purchased a groupon for The Body Shop and I can’t wait to hop in to do some extra Christmas shopping to pick up a few gifts.
Have you begun your Christmas shopping? What’s on your list?!
