OOTD: Brown Accents

Several weeks ago before the cold chill hit Vancouver, I could still wander outside in (another) one of my sweater cardigans (I know I have way too many!) I still wear plenty of sweaters, under a thick jacket now. Truly hate how it gets dark at 4:15 pm now! When Dynamite had a 30% off on their website with free shipping, I took advantage of it and am wearing these two new tops today’s outfit.

While online shopping, my eyes were immediately drawn to Dynamite’s Zip Woven Blouse that has a zippered front, in a non-scandalous way of course. This top is more fitting for spring/summer with its light chiffon material but if I’m throwing a knit over it, it’s passable in 14-18 degree weather. To keep warm, I threw on the Textured Boyfriend Cardigan Cub/Jet Black (also from Dynamite…yay to 30% off sales!) which is a super cozy knit. However, the quality isn’t top notch, as the knitting is unraveling in some areas.

Once again, I am wearing the Topshop Leigh Jeans that look tight, but are surprisingly comfortable. So tempted to get another pair, but for $65, I could search for another option, yes? At last, I am strutting out in these high heeled boots from Guess- the “Finaly Lace Up Booties“. You may have seen me post a sneak peek of these on my instagram here! These booties add a few inches to my height and are comfortable to walk around in them! Plus, they match with my brown cardigan!

I’m on a hunt to find a nice jacket for the colder weather right now, wondering if I should get a camel wool jacket or a duffle coat? Or just stick with black so it goes with everything?
