Ah, ok I didn’t really dress up for Halloween last week. I wore an orange fox hat around the office and that was it. Though, I also wore an orange-y top to complement it and made it so it looked like it was easy to switch between “costume” look and casual look. Luckily, there was one sunny day in Vancouver so I had the time to go out and took some pictures of my so-called Halloween outift!
(Psst- I hope you don’t mind the occasional fashion blogging on here once in a while. I’ve been influenced by a few people and it’s fun to be behind the camera from head to toe, than usually just my face! Sometimes in my beauty blog photos…I’m wearing a nice top but pyjama pants!)
My outfit here is mainly previously purchased clothing from last season. The Aritzia waterfall cardigan is a piece I picked up from last year’s warehouse sale. It is one of the comfiest, warmest things to envelope my body in. Sadly, I think their warehouse sale isn’t as great as it used to be and I’m just too lazy to line up for them! The orange/coral top I’m wearing is also from Aritzia (got it on sale of course) and it has 3/4 sleeves and a back opening where I tie a ribbon around the neck. I am also wearing a tank top underneath it, since I’m not the one who feels comfortable having my bra strap being too exposed. I see these tops starting to get popular now, with similar versions popping up at Forever 21 and The Bay.
I recently went to the new TopShop in Richmond Centre (my home!) and purchased these High Waisted Ankle Grazer jeans– they are so comfy and they sort of mold into my legs, though it did feel tight in the beginning. The jeans look grey/black but they have a bit of dark green in it too, which is one of my favourite colours to wear. And since I was carrying a lot of stuff that day, I’m carrying my 3.1 Phillip Lim x Target bag I purchased last year. Because we all live in the city of Raincouver, To go along with the black-gold look of my bag, I am wearing the House of Harlow 1960 mini sunburst necklace I got during the Shopbop Friends and Family sale. I am wearing my trusty ankle, waterproof Arctica boots from Browns that was a last year purchase as well. They need a good spray and shine ASAP!
Oh, yes- I’m also holding my favourite Venezuelan coffee from 49th Parallel Coffee; you should definitely check out the coffee/donut selection if you’re in the Main Street area!
