Ever since there was an evolution of bath bombs and fancy soaps, I’ve been taking more baths this year than I have in the past 5 years. Two new bath partners in crime I have been recently trying are from I Love…Cosmetics, which you can find at Shoppers Drug Mart in Canada.
There’s nothing I find more relaxing than soaking in a bath after an intense day-whether it’s doing the Grouse Grind or coming back from a weekend of camping, my first thought is BATH TIME! I Love Cosmetics’ Raspberry & Blackberry Bubble Bath & Shower Creme. I tried to take a picture in my bathroom, but the incandescent lighting did not do the bubble bath justice and not worthy of being on the blog.
This shower creme has a nice consistency and I recommend using a shower scrubbie or exfoliating cloth with it to exfoliate the skin and rub the creme into new skin cells and let the shower creme’s unique skin softening vitamin complex to seep into the body. When used as a bubble bath, the water turns bubbly pink. The smell is invigorating and if you love eating berries, this is like swimming in the ultimate berry compote. A minor drawback is that it doesn’t leave a moisturizing film over the body, which some bath bombs and bath salts do. Nevertheless, I Love… Raspberry & Blackberry Shower Creme wins in the smell factor and fun-in-the-shower/bath factor.
After a bath/shower, lotion-ing up is a necessity for me. My skin is constantly dry from being stuffed under long sleeves and tight jeans the whole day and breathing the same air over and over again like a prisoner. I am absolutely smitten with I Love… Strawberries & Cream nourishing body butter. If you like anything related to strawberries, strawberry ice cream, or Lotso Bear from Toy Story, this is a product that leaves you smelling like your strawberry dream. There’s also coconut oil and shea butter; ingredients that can never go wrong in providing hydration to the skin. I’ve been secretly excited in taking morning showers so I can bus and go to work smelling awesome.
I always have had a slight preference for fruity scents so these two new additions from I Love…Cosmetics are a HUGE welcome to my bath/shower routine. My mom has also been using the Strawberries & Cream body butter.  Now that I think about it, I actually use quite a bit of products when I’m in the water. Should I do a bath/shower routine post?!
