Couple weeks ago, I attended my first craft blogger event! Fashion, food, and beauty blogging is vast in Vancouver; it is always nice to find another niche! Crystal from Sew Creative and Tara from Suburble created the West Coast Creative Company to network the craft bloggers of Vancouver.
The event was located at Collage Collage, a craft space that I never knew existed in Vancouver! Everything is so creative inside!
Before the festivities began, there was some food, and there was some wine! We had a glass of rosé, generously sponsored by Okanagan Crush Pad and Haywire Wines. I don’t know much about wines (or alcohol for that matter), but if it isn’t dry and it has some sweetness, I’m there!
The crafty event for the night was making crepe flowers. I severely am lacking talent in this area. I need some extreme practice before I can make these! I’ve been thinking of trying to make flower crowns sometime, this assortment has inspired me to start soon!
One of the craft bloggers and participants, Eleanor from Moo and the Bear, made these personalized initial necklaces; they’re hand stamped and made out of sterling silver! I am quite curious in the hand stamping jewelry business, and I have been looking into getting my own set of tools…I want to wear a bunch of quotes from Doctor Who/ Game of Thrones / Sherlock..#GeekingOut
At the end of the night, there were door prizes and for the first time ever, I won! This door prize was sponsored by CIL Paints. What should I paint?! I doubt my dad would let me repaint my walls….
At the end of the night, all the attendees were gifted with a swag bag of sponsored goods!
