I was browsing at London Drugs and saw that L’Oreal had a new nail polish collection called “Les Blancs.” There were pastel nail polishes, and also some super cute polishes with glitter and speckles in them! After standing there for some long time. I decided to get Spot Me based on my love for black sesame ice cream, McDonalds Oreo McFlurry, Cookies N’ Cream chocolate, and most of all, Cadbury mini eggs (they taste better with the spots!)
I thought Spot Me originally contained small black circular glitters, but when I applied, I saw (perfectly) hexagonal shaped glitters! The color of Spot Me’s base is a pale, grey-blue colour. The first coat came out a bit milky, and since I have nails that have a a large surface area, it wasn’t even on the first coat. (Please ignore my sad cuticles. 🙁 )
After two coats…(the thumb and middle finger nails needed three coats. I have large thumbs.)
One thing I was surprised about Spot Me was that the brush picked up a dense amount of glitter. I have had some deceiving nail polishes that are so glittery in the bottle, but when I want to apply it, I get a thin layer of almost nothing! It also dried pretty quickly between coats. I didn’t have to walk around with vulnerable polished hands for too long!
For someone who is terrible and impatient when it comes to nail art, I rely on glitter to make my nails stand out. These glitter polishes in L’Oreal Les Blancs collection stood out to me since they’re in a pastel colour base, they look more unique than other glitter polishes I have!
L’Oreal nail polishes can be purchased at drugstores (Shoppers Drug Mart, London Drugs. They’re approximately $6.99, keep an eye out for any sales if you are thinking to pick it up!)
