Hello everyone! The weather is picking up and I get sleepier everyday as the sun rises earlier and earlier. It’s almost time to pull out all things spring, however, it’s still chilly enough to keep warm! A must-accessory for me is a scarf, they keep you warm when it’s cold and fashionable when it’s warm. I recently received this light blue FRAAS scarf that replicates the feel and look of cashmere, though it is made of 100% acrylic. I wore all grey and black in my outfit so the beautiful colour of periwinkle stands out.
The FRAAS brand style I am wearing is 701100, the solid Cashmink Classic scarf. It is made in Germany and it had its first debut in 1985. There are many colours included in the collection such as coral, pumpkin, peony, or gold (the list goes on!) There also many more styles and patterns, which can be viewable on FRAAS’ online store. You can find FRAAS at Specialty stores throughout the country and may order these styles directly from the company by calling 212-575-0191.
Although the fabric is man made, it is incredibly soft and lightweight, so I don’t feel a thing when I take off my scarf and fold it into my bag. Most of my scarves are big chunky ones, and I realized how convenient it is to have a thinner scarf, but it is still able to provide the same amount of warmth. Although it’s not super long, I am able to style it in various ways and I can see myself accessorizing it against a simple top or perhaps a bodycon dress? Do any of you have a particular favourite in scarf styling?
To continue with my “pops of blue” theme, I am also wearing blue Sally Hansen nail polish and my Pandora bracelet with blue charms. My top came from the MANGO shop in Hong Kong. It has transparent mesh sleeves, but since it was a bit chilly, I kept warm but wearing a stripe shirt underneath, so you can see the pattern peeking out. For jeans, I picked them up during the winter sale at ZARA. Their jeans can go for around $20-$30 and I like how they have different styles. This one has a vertical zipper, and you can’t see it, but a portion of the jeans’ cuffs is half denim, half stretchy material so. Unfortunately, I’m wearing my leather, waterproof boots from Browns, so half my jeans are hidden! (I realized that I mainly wear two boots, this pair or another black pair from Browns, that is also from the ARCTICA brand.)
I am also wearing one of my favourite duffle jackets, from Pac Sun when I was shopping in Las Vegas three years ago. It’s warm and I feel a bit edgy when I wear it. Those kind of buttons, the horn toggle fastenings, are one of my favourite closures on a jacket!
Last but not least, I’m carrying all my million essentials with me in my Phillip Lim for Target bag!
(Edit, my awesome boyfriend Mark took these pictures, I thank him for his patience!!)

PS: Not sure if you caught the scarf on my Instagram, but I was wearing it while I was showing my bold, orange lip look! Since blue and orange are opposites, I decided to try pairing them against each other.
