As a bridesmaid, it’s fun to look at bridal accessories and wedding planning related topics with the bride. My coworker is getting married in a year and I can’t wait to be part of it! One website to be inspired from is Rosie Willett Designs. Rosie Willett Designs feature a variety of handmade wedding tiaras, headbands, and accessories. Each item is individually handcrafted and stitched by Rosie Willett. Handmade jewelrey is a business that I wanted to do when I was young, and I actually used to sell some of my own handmade stuff via Facebook, and now I go to anime conventions to sell my self-crafted pieces. The jewelry on Rosie Willett’s site looks so professionally done, I wish I was on that level some day.
There are many pieces by Rosie Willett that are not just meant for the bride, but also bridesmaids or for those attending special events, such as prom, as well. There are so many varieties available, and you can choose according by collection, such as the Tutu Collection or the Rose and Lace Collection or by category, such as Wedding Alice Bands, Double Headbands, and Flower Garlands or Occasions Head Pieces, Corsages, and Jewellrey.
My top three favourite picks from Rosie Willett designs are:
The Lara leaf headpiece that is made of Silk Organza, Swarovski Crystal, and Pearl. I would totally wear this with a date outfit and special events.
I also love the floral headpieces of Rosie Willett designs. The Margirute wedding tiara is champagned coloured and each flower is made from hand-stitched petals. I love the triple flower design and it brings a sense of innocence and romance to this bride’s look.
Last but not least, I love the uniqueness of the Bryony Wedding Hair Vine. It is made with Swarovski cream pearl berries (I love doing beadwork and didn’t even know that existed!) and dimante leaves. The flexible wire allows you to shape it around your hair according to your style. I love this choice because it’s different than a headband, and, it’s good for those who get a headache from wearing a headband too long (*raises hand.*)
After browsing through the site, I decided to pull out one of the two jeweled headbands out to wear. It reminds me of the good old days when I watched Gossip Girl every day and buy clothes that reminds me of Blair Waldorf (and I still do!)
Do you wear headbands to complete your outfit? Sometimes I do, and sometimes I wear it to get that thick hair away from my face! For any married bloggers, did you wear any elaborate hair accessories? Do share!!
(By the way, I am in no way planning my wedding or anything, readers!!- However, I will pass this site to my soon to be married coworker and see if we can incorporate headbands into our bridesmaid dresses.)
